CharlyGRAAL is a CAO/CAM software program that combines ease of use with the power and rigour of an industrial software program. Ail the stages of the design of a work-piece are present in charlyGRAAL: CAO design, CAM machining descriptions, machining on Charlyrobot Digitally Controlled Machine Tools.

                

For the user, the steps are linked together auto­matieally, with the possibility, at any time, of going back to correct or adapt the Project.

CharlyGRAAL enables you to import files from other 3D CAD (imports in STL format).

On specifie geometries, enables tool trajectories to be created in different modes:

  • Axial sweeping

  • Angular sweeping

  • Concentric sweeping

  • Crosswise locating point, variable step, etc

  

ln 4 clicks of the mouse, you pass from surfaces to tell path

 

  • Choice of machining mode (roughing / finishing) 

  • Choice of tools

  • Choice of machining strategy

  • Choice of machining precision (in finishing) And you are machining!...

CharlyGRAAL 3D offers yeu two operating modes, either an entirely automatic operation, or a mode for expert users where ail the parameters can be modified. You can switch from one mode to the other at any time.3

  

You choose your machining mode, roughing, fini­shing or bath. Your machining parameters can be modified at any time.

You set your type of finish. You have a choice of three types of finish. Rapid, medium or Fine. Each level of finish corresponds to different surface condition parameters. All of these values can be modified by the user. Possibility of creating machining restriction areas.
